Refund Policy
Last updated: 13 July 2026
We want you to be happy with your order. This policy explains your right to cancel, return and obtain a refund for books bought from CPB Publishing International. It sits alongside — and does not affect — your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
Pre-orders
You can cancel a pre-order at any time before it is dispatched for a full refund. Just email us with your order details and we'll refund your payment.
Your 14-day right to cancel (physical books)
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, if you buy a physical book online you may cancel within 14 days of receiving it, for any reason. To cancel, email chris@chrisburtonconsultant.com with your order number. You then have 14 days to return the book in resaleable condition to [returns address]. We will refund the price of the book within 14 days of receiving it back. Unless the item is faulty, you are responsible for the cost of return postage.
Faulty or damaged items
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, if a book arrives faulty or damaged you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund. Contact us within a reasonable time with a description (and, if possible, a photo) and we'll put it right at no cost to you.
Digital products
Where a product is supplied in digital form, your right to cancel ends once download or access begins and you have agreed to that — this will be made clear at checkout.
How refunds are made
Refunds are issued via Stripe to your original payment method. Please allow a few working days for the funds to appear, depending on your bank or card provider.
How to request a refund
Email chris@chrisburtonconsultant.com or call 0800 599 9299 with your order number and the reason for your request, and we'll take it from there.
None of the above affects your statutory rights.
